Money Saving Mum

This blog is to document my journey of getting rid of debt, money saving, being smart with money and also trying to have as much fun as possible. 

I am a wife and mum of one to my 4 year old daughter. The first 2 years that she was here I saved for a deposit for a house, which we then bought. Then the next 2 years were about saving for our wedding - we got married in June 2015. 

I scrimped and saved to achieve this (and got myself in a little bit of wedding debt!) and as my daughter is due to start school in September I made a new years resolution that this year I will live a little - trips, days out, take her on her first holiday and to buy a car.

I have listed lots of items on gumtree and eBay (prefer gumtree because there are no fees, I would recommend always trying to sell on gumtree first) and yesterday sold one of my daughters outfits for £10 which was great! 

I am saving the £10 for a girls night out next month - as mentioned I'm determined to live a little this year so I am looking forward to this night out with my friends!
