Cheap kids activities/crafts

It's been horrible weather here lately and it's scuppered my plans this week of things to do with my daughter. As we've been stuck inside we have been doing some crafty bits. We did our first attempt of papier mâché, see below:
A dinosaur! Needs to be painted
A rocket - painted in very girly colours, you can take the rocket off and store stuff inside.
Homemade playdoh! This is a blue glittery one and we also did a yellow glittery one.

All quite simple and made with items we had here already - toilet rolls, toilet paper, scrap paper and the playdoh mixture was: 1 cup of cold water, 1 cup of salt, 3 cups of flour, 2 tsp vegetable oil, 2 tbsp corn flour and food colouring. She had a great time doing it all.

Daughter is in nursery today, I'm wrapped up with layers of clothes and dressing gown, refusing to put the heating on! Days like today though really make me want to save for a car even more, it was horrible walking to nursery in a shower of hailstones and strong wind. Hubs is looking into something today which could potentially get me a car much much sooner than I thought...!! xx
