Baby steps...

Really hoping that all of my little endeavours add up to saving me money over the year. I have changed energy suppliers but they said it can take up to 6 weeks to do this, I can't wait for the amount to go down each month with a saving of £264 a year. I hope to get this down further with all the little tricks I am trying to implement.

Homemade pizza for lunch today and we had jacket potatoes for tea, which I haven't done in years. Pretty frugal meal! Homemade apple crumble for dessert too. Used a tea bag to make 2 cups of tea for myself and hubs, why have I never done that before??!
The washing was put outside today to try and dry it (wish I had a log burner!), I usually wash up as I go but waited and did it all together, have turned the thermostat down to 18 degrees, forgot to say when I made the jammy buns yesterday that the eggs were one day past their use by date but I tested using a jug of water and it was still fresh - I would normally have thrown them away so was pleased!

Watch the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves....
Still brainstorming some money making ideas, feeling positive! xx
